What’s better than a little eggnog with your cupcakes? How about a little bourbon with your eggnog INSIDE your cupcakes. Sprinkle a little cinnamon in that mix and you have a holiday cupcake that will knock everyone’s Christmas stockings off.
I’m going to rate this recipe a medium level of difficulty because there are three pieces: The cupcakes themselves, the bourbon buttercream frosting and the nutmeg garnish. Three chances to get things screwed up. Be careful the batter is a little thin, but it works. It doesn’t work when it’s too thin.
Also, I could not find Cinnamon eggnog as the recipe calls for, but I just dumped cinnamon in the eggnog and rolled with it. The results were still DELISH! Click the Recipe Button and Bake!

It feels like I can’t get enough of pretzels on cupcakes. It’s that salty taste, mixed with the sweetness or caramel and then the cake-i-ness of the cupcake. It’s a win-win-win. A trifecta of taste.
These cupcakes rank up there with the best that I have ever made. Honestly. One bite and all I could think of is a pay day bar. A pay day is basically salted peanuts around a center of caramel. Swap the pretzels for the peanuts and that’s exactly what I’m tasting.
The recipe for these is not difficult until you get to the Salted Caramel Buttercream which has instructions to make from scratch. I typically go and buy some prepared butter cream just in case my home made doesn’t taste so good. This way instead of aborting ship or tryin again, I can just pop the top and spread. These look like a lot of work and they are. This is a recipe that you tackle when you have some time and patience on your hands. When everyone is gone for the day and you have some light Christmas music playing and feel like being creative. The presents are Rice Krispies Treats covered in melted candy! They are then wrapped in Fondant bows.

I am determined to collect every recipe that involves Oreo cookies and cupcakes. This frosting is one of the best tasting frosting on the planet. You will be tempted to just eat spoonfuls of frosting, the hell with the cupcakes.
The frosting is simply a vanilla flavored frosting with just the right amount of Oreo cookies sprinkled in to make it look and taste like cookies and cream ice cream. The bigger the Oreo chunks the crunchier the cupcake. Have you ever had a crunch cupcake? Devine. For more delicious photos and the detailed recipe, hit the Recipe button and BAKE!

Despite our kicking and screaming, winter is setting in upon us, so this is the first of my “hot chocolate cupcake recipes”. This isn’t really hot chocolate but it looks like a cup of hot chocolate. These types of recipes are my favorite because they look so much harder than they really are and they always taste good. If you are a baker like me, you know that taste is sometime easier to achieve then looks.
Just think regular cupcakes, with a frosting made with confectioners’ sugar, shortening and milk. Spread that on top with some mini marshmallows and stick a candy cane sick in the side.

These are just the cutest things. The more expressions that you can put on the snowman’s faces the better. This is one of those super-easy execution recipes that can be done with any flavor of cupcake and any flavor of little cookie for the hat. I also recommend ordering some candy eyes from Amazon. They are only $5.00 here and can be at your house in about a day.
The arms are little pieces of licorice and remember the bigger the marshmallow the easier it is to make a facial expression. Although I basically told you everything you need to know, the official link to the recipe is still below. Click the Recipe Button and have fun!

As Thanksgiving approaches so is the need to get creative with Sweet Potatoes, and nothing sparks creativity like a shot of Bourbon!
If you are at an adult function then you can really pour in the bourbon, so these are now like little sweet potato bourbon shots! How divine and naughty is that. The recipe is from bakerella and she suggests as well adding more whiskey. She says that if she had to make these over again, she would find a way to just add the bourbon to the vanilla glaze. So it’s now a double – a shot inside and a shot on top.
Warm these up after a meal with some coffee and its Nighty Night! You know what to do….hit the Recipe Button and BAKE!!
