Let’s call it what it is, this is no more than a Devil’s food cupcake with Peanut butter Ganache. The Reeese’s Puffs are then just stuck to the frosting. It’s as simple as that. This recipe has a great tutorial on stuffing cupcakes with center fillings. One method is before making the other is post baking. I prefer the post baking method. The last time we visited salty with sweet was our Maple Bacon cupcakes and they were a huge hit. I have been looking for something that was close, but not has harsh as bacon, and I stumbled on to these beauties. Yes, that is a corn-chip. I can’t remember the last time I had one, but I do remember how good they taste. I think the popularity of the Tortilla chip might have forced the corn chip into hiding, but he was willing to come out and play. I used Fritos for my cupcakes.
